I wrote this song shortly after I became engaged in the Pagan community, and found the lack of happy, upbeat Pagan music staggaring. It tells the tale of the wheel of the year, a central theme in many a nature-based religion, including mine. At the same time it pokes fun at our beliefs and ourselves.

I don't believe in dragons!

Springtime brings new life:
flowers bloom, bunnies thrive.
Summer trees will shade us
from the hot rays of the sun.
In autumn most things wither,
leaves turn yellow, orange, brown.
In winter-time the world seems dead,
but soon spring's back in town!

Mother bunnies bear
little bunnies everywhere.
They grow and multiply
and eat the crops right off our lands.
We're lucky nature thought of that
and came up with the fox.
It's chickens now that are at stake
so balance is the crux!
